Jermel A. Gilliam, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, is a beloved father, husband, and military veteran. As a hospice Chaplain and licensed Social Worker with almost 30 years of human services experience, he holds both a bachelor's and master's degrees in Social Work from Morgan State University & Delaware State University. Jermel founded the Wisdom Chapter of the Gentlemen of Quality Fraternity at Delaware State University, focusing on Male Rites of Passage programs, Social Consciousness, and Community Service. His diverse background includes work with domestic violence batterers, juvenile offenders, and psychotherapy in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Reverend Gilliam holds a Doctor of Ministry and a Ph.D. in Clinical Pastoral Psychology. As the host of "the Sacred Black Masculine Show," he is also affiliated with the Centers for Spiritual Living and founded the Baltimore Center for Love, fostering interfaith dialogue and transformative spiritual practices.
