Jerome Campbell

Jerome Campbell is a multimedia/interactive journalist. He has produced stories across many platforms and has a passion for digital storytelling.

He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2014 with degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. While at the university, he served as a producer for Annenberg Radio News where produced a nightly radio show covering the LA area. He placed as a Hearst finalist for his original pieces and received a SPJ award for newscasts.

During the summer of 2013, Jerome traveled to Grahamstown, South Africa to cover the country's National Arts Festival. Jerome produced radio and online pieces which were reposted and distributed by several South African media outlets.

Jerome also interned for SoCal Connected where focused on the convergence of television and digital journalism. He worked on data journalism projects to supplement long-form television reports, including a database of LA priest abuse cases and locating intersections with high pedestrian death counts.

Additionally, he worked with the Los Angeles Times broadcast production team for the publication's first live web show during the 2012 Presidential Election.
