Born and raised in Thunder Bay my first job was with CNR as a trainman. It didn’t take long to realize working around trains in -30 degrees was not what I wanted for a career.

Ryerson was my next stop which graduated me as a health inspector leading to work in Simcoe County for the next 25 yrs. My extensive environmental experience with septic systems and site evaluation opened the door for me to form a company when I retired in 2000.

Working as a consultant over the next ten years allowed me to travel extensively across Ontario and widen my network of associations within the wastewater community. With this kind exposure to local firms and government agencies across the province I gained an interesting perspective not many people ever have the opportunity to get.

FauxRocks Canada evolved from comments by numerous home owners saying they wanted to hide their septic tank lids but could not locate a dealer for fake plastic rocks. My research was successful and FauxRocks Canada was born becoming the Canadian distributor for DekoRRa Products. A network of dealers has been developed coast to coast across Canada supplying customers looking to hide anything from septic systems to pool side circulation pumps.
