As someone who had worked only the summer vacations, when at university (because working and studying at once isn't for everybody), I'm going to tell you what types of jobs I had to choose from.

I'm going just go ahead and say that you don't have any fair options. Being the age when you value yourself more to be working overtime for less than minimum wage, but at the same time not having a degree to get you a better environment on the job is pretty tricky.

And money are necessary all the time, you just can't go without it. Summer is the time when you decide to work yourself to death so you can have as much savings as possible for the following year. The opportunities are many a lot and are very different. So, what kind of job should you find to provide yourself with additional cash?

Writing a resume at this point is the hardest thing ever. It should include all of qualifications, work history, skills, knowledge and education, which are virtually none existent in the eyes of your employees. They just want some young cheap working force. So, the best thing to do is give yourself a presentable appearance and emphasize on the fact that you're hard working, you're willing to stay extra hours and you're good at team work.

A good paying job you might find if you get yourself in the babysitting business, because during the summer people go to vacations and prefer to leave their children to someone else's care. If you get yourself into a company that provides babysitters, be sure the company will take a percentage of your salary. On the other hand, getting into the grey sector and just helping out your neighbors for some pocket money might prove not enough.

Though in my opinion, no pay is enough when you're that age.

If you have a love for animals, you might consider working as a dog walker or pet sitter. Speak with your friends, relatives and neighbours about watching their pets for them, or advertise your services well. Sometimes this helps a lot.
