Jerry Barnwell

I am a strategic and creative problem solver with an internal penchant for learning and discovering. I am the communications director for a multi-campus church outside of Dallas, Texas. Before serving in churches in Texas, I worked for 15 years in communications and media services for a global non-profit as a communications and content manager, team leader, social media strategist, interactive and web designer, photographer, writer, and editor. That team provided communications support for over one hundred countries.
My strong faith enhances my drive toward fruitful work, service, and care in everything I pursue. My giftings allow me to serve up front or alongside, leading, joining, or equipping others to be effective.
Also, I have served two years as a church starter in a cross-cultural setting (with many years after that in a bi-vocational role while overseas) and taught secondary school for six years. Throughout this time, I have lived, worked, and drug a family across six different countries.
