Jerry Cain

A managing director with Slate Asset Management since 2020, Jerry Cain focuses on distribution and capital raising for the real estate-focused alternative investment firm. Prior to joining Slate Asset Management, Jerry Cain served as managing director and head of funds advisory for the Americas at JLL, leading private fund advisory efforts and capital raising activities across North America.

Mr. Cain holds a bachelor of arts in international relations from Roanoke College and a master of business administration from Northeastern University. He has held positions with some of the world’s premier financial institutions, including serving as director at the private capital advisory group of the investment bank Lazard Freres. In this position, he developed and maintained relationships with real estate operators and general partners in North America.

Outside of work, Mr. Cain plays sports such as golf, tennis, and platform tennis, which is played on a raised platform surrounded by tightly strung wire fencing. He also enjoys spending time with his family.
