Jerry Novack currently serves as the Senior Executive Vice President of Bluerock Real Estate. Since 2004, Jerry has been an integral part of Bluerock's success in real estate asset management. A nationwide firm with corporate offices in Manhattan, NY, Bluerock focuses on Core-Plus, Value-Add, Opportunistic and Development investment strategies.

In the last 13 years, Bluerock has been instrumental in over 9 million square feet of residential and commercial real estate acquisitions. As SEVP, Jerry Novack specializes in start-ups and turnarounds with extensive business development experience in diverse industries including real estate, restaurant management, and retail. His interests lie in multiple areas including capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, public REITs, restaurant, and retail industries, public company filings, and human capital strategies.

In addition to his work at Bluerock, Jerry Novack has contributed extensively to others as a coach and educator. He's used his disruptive mindset, innovative thinking, and entrepreneurial insights to develop creative opportunities throughout his career and it has earned him high recognition. This profound creativity has not only earned the respect of his peers but prompted great professional success as well.

Jerry Novack obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College, City University of New York. His specialties include Capital Raising, Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategic Planning and Execution,Start–ups and Turnarounds, Public REITs, Captive Broker-Dealers, Commercial Real Estate Asset Management, Residential Real Estate Asset Management, Restaurant, and Retail Industries, Financial Reporting Implementation, and Controls, Public Company Filings, Corporate, and Business Unit Leadership, Marketing and Sales, and Human Capital Strategies.

Prior to his extensive career with Bluerock, Jerry Novack worked with the New World Restaurant Group in the position of EVP CFO Secretary. Here his roles included being the leader of several financial systems, including treasury, accounting, and management information. In addition, Jerry was responsible for marketing and manufacturing in the human resources department and responsible for SEC filing, reporting, and preparation. He also managed a staff of over 70 people.

Jerry Novack is also interested in social entrepreneurship, youth leadership, and communications.
