Jerry Speziale

Jerry Speziale is presently the Police Commissioner for the City of Paterson, 2013 City of Prichard Police Chief, 2010 Deputy Police Superintendent of the NY NJ Port Authority Police Department. 2001 Jerry Speziale was the Sheriff of Passaic County responsible for a county police agency of approximately one thousand employees. Passaic County has an extremely diverse makeup, and comprises urban, suburban and rural areas, with a population of approximately 500,000 residents.

Jerry Speziale has exhibited pride and respect for the uniform he wears and what it symbolizes. Prior to becoming the Sheriff of Passaic County, his law enforcement career led him around the world. From overseas drug enforcement raids with the DEA, managing investigations for the NYPD's Joint Drug Enforcement Task Force, Commander of a Narcotics and Money Laundering Unit for the Passaic County Sheriff's Department to being named Chief of Department for the Bergen County Sheriff's Department.

Jerry Speziale is a career law enforcement official and police academy graduate of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. In addition to this, Jerry Speziale attended and graduated from two of the nations leading post executive management institutions, the University of Louisville's Southern Police Institute and FBI's Law Enforcement Executive Development Academy.

Speziale has many professional achievements to his credit. He has been recognized for saving the victims of two separate kidnappings and is a world-renowned wiretap expert for the United States Department of Justice. He has testified on a number of occasions before the United States Congress and frequently lectures at the FBI Academy, DEA Special Operations Division and numerous federal, state and local law-enforcement training centers around the country.

Throughout his career, Jerry Speziale has been awarded many medals and citations, including the Michael John Buczek Medal of Honor, (22) New York City Police Department Commendations and numerous federal, state and local law enforcement honors and citations.

Jerry Speziale is the author of an autobiography, " Without a Badge, " published by Kennsington Publishing, which is a true story that chronicles his fast-living years as a victorious undercover drug agent in South America. Speziale's DEA team became one of the most successful drug units in US history and Producer David Permut is presently developing his story into a motion picture.
