> All document signers should be physically present and carry an unexpired and acceptable form of identification. e.g., State issued Driver's License (DL), Photo ID or Passport

> Bring along all originals that require certifications/attestations along with supporting documents.

> Do not pre-sign or date the documents that require notarization. The date on the notarial certificate must be the actual date of the notarization. Post dated documents will not be Notarized.

> All the sections of the document presented for notarization should be completely filled up (Except for Signature and Date).

> If your documents require two witnesses, the aforementioned rules apply to them as well. Your witness cannot be an immediate relative. (A notary may serve both as a witness and notary to a document).
