JESALYN KEZIAH

My roots run deep in rural North Carolina.

I'm the Program Manager of North Carolina's pilot "Food Youth Initiative", developing a statewide program to empower youth to become involved in the real food movement!

My background is in bee research, which led me to receiving the Burch Fellowship to pursue independent research in New Zealand, living on a Biostation near Glacier National Park in Montana, and presenting to conferences such as the American Association of Geographers and the PowerSHIFT Youth Environmental Symposium.

In my free time, I'm a potter, a crafter, and a baker. I'm starting a small gluten-free bakery in the Triangle Area (website soon to come!)
