Jess Taylor

I work at a local grocery store where customers are considered friends. I am currently a service clerk and bottles person but I am trying to work my way up to cashier, and I can feel it is within my reach in no time at all. I have been trained, I am just waiting for the opening.

I graduated from high school with highest honors, taking AP english classes and an AP U.S history class. I kept myself involved in National Honor Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Tennis, Basketball, and Student Council.

My goal is to achieve an Associate Degree in Science, which is just a semester away, along with both honors certifcates. After I accomplish that, I will transfer to University of Michigan and work hard for a bachelor's in Wildlife Biology.

I am a responsible, hard-working individual who is loyal and trustworthy. I am proficient with Microsoft Office thanks to many classes. When I was evaluated at my job, my manager gave me the highest score possible on teamwork. I am able to get along with people, a skill my job has enhanced due to the customer service aspect of it. I am friendly, punctual, willing to learn, and try my hardest at being the best employee and person that I can be. I would be an asset to any business if given the opportunity.

Of the many activities that I like to involve myself with, among them are growing sunflowers and gardening, bicycling, consuming delicious food, cooking, watching old television shows, spending time with my family and friends, traveling, learning, reading, meeting new people, and most importantly attempting my best at living for God.
