Jessamin Speed (also known as Jessa) is an Australian Watercolour Artist whom specialises in a unique ‘Ink Blowing’ style. Jessa’s technique focuses on a part of the image in detail and then uses the natural elements of water and wind (blowing) to add energy and life to her painting that ensures no two pieces could ever be exactly the same.

Jessa also runs monthly watercolour workshops from Artypotz studio on Castle Road which are highly successful and are consistently selling out. Due to the popularity of the workshops Jessa is looking to run the workshops more frequently in more locations.

Jessa frequently attends community art events and is a regular contributor to Free Art Friday Portsmouth which she feels strongly is a great asset in community engagement.

Within the next year Jessa is working towards running more workshops and establishing herself within the Portsmouth community as well as the online community.

Update: Jessa has recently accepted as the youngest member of the Fire Monkey Collective at Hotwalls Studio 1.
