Jessanna Buschur

A graduate of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, Jessanna V. Buschur possesses diverse experience in online, radio, and television media. Prior to earning a degree in journalism, she wrote articles about foreign exchange students for the online newspaper Bluffton Icon. She also produced and hosted a weekly program on WBWH, the Bluffton University radio station. After graduating from Ohio University, she interned for The Journal, a television show on WBGU-TV, the PBS member station in Bowling Green, Ohio. During her time with The Journal, Jessanna V. Buschur traveled to Europe and interned at the Leipzig, Germany-based radio station Mephisto, where she contributed written and video content to the station’s blog and produced news segments broadcast during popular time slots.
While maintaining her interest in journalism, Jessanna Buschur currently works as an assistant general manager for American Eagle Outfitters. At the apparel retailer’s Maumee, Ohio, location, she hires, trains, develops, and supervises sales associates while overseeing visual merchandising and managing payroll.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Jessanna Buschur enjoys athletics and exercise. She has played tennis for the past seven years and attends kickboxing classes three times a week. An avid reader of biographies and self-improvement literature, her favorite books include The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John C. Maxwell and Silver Sparrow by Tayari Jones.
