I am a true believer in the written word. Whether penned or typed, written expression commands a depth of thought that the spoken word is often void of. And thus I have drawn inspiration to share my love of writing with the world, transitioning from the world of private journaling and creative writing into the realm of professional writing and communications. My goal is to understand explicitly what it is I am communicating to ensure that I do so in a clear, concise and effective manner. No challenge is too great, and my work aims to achieve a balance of precision and eloquence. Following is a brief overview of my professional exerpience.

In 2011 I joined Southern Cross Austereo with burning passion to work within the dynamic media and communications industry, specifically in the area of branding, marketing and business development. This was an ideal complement to the skills I had acquired after spending over ten years working across a broad range of roles for a number of leading businesses within the financial services industry.

Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work with an extensive portfolio of clients across a diverse range of industries including financial services, hospitality, trade, retail, health and e-businesses. My work with each business has been focused on establishing a platform for long-term growth, identifying key points of differentiation and helping to develop brand awareness and effective marketing campaigns. In both financial services and now media I have proven my ability to generate revenue through a proven track record in regularly achieving and outperforming sales targets.

The key skills that I have acquired and refined throughout my career include exceptional relationship building skills, strong written communication skills and the ability to develop and execute marketing and advertising strategies.

I pride myself on being a diligent worker with a desire to outperform targets and expectations, as well as having the ability to think on my feet and prioritise tasks. I have a genuine passion for developing long-term relationships with my clients and colleagues and look to find unique ways to keep clients engaged and on board. My experience working in sales and business development has given me both the ability to work well in what can be a highly stressful environment and allowed me to learn the art of multi-tasking and time management which I apply now to all areas of my life.
