JESSE DAMON BIO This spring 2016, Jesse will release his new album called “Southern Highway. His new sound is a cross between a Nashville country blues with a bit of Southern rock flair! Look for a spring release date! "Southern Highway" is coming out soon! Jesse Damon is best known as the rebel with a cause from a small L.A. beach city of Hawthorne, California, Jesse first picked up a guitar at the age of 8. Influenced by 70’s rock guitarists and their solo playing and songwriting styles, he began to write his own songs from the minute he learned to play. Damon embraced his musical passion by recording and singing with his first band Rage in High School. In the eighties the band changed their name to Silent Rage and went on to release Shattered Hearts. In that same year the bands release caught the eye of rock legend and business mogul Gene Simmons. Jesse and the band signed to Simmons/RCA Records and released their critically acclaimed second album called “Don’t Touch Me There.” In the Nineties Jesse concentrated on writing songs for a solo career and landed a Gold record co-writing with Gene Simmons for KISS Revenge LP. In 2002 he released his first solo album called “The Hand That Rocks” and after 10 years and three more solo albums Damon signed with AOR Heaven (Germany). In 2013, he released "Temptation in the Garden of Eve,” that some say is his best work since the “Don’t Touch Me There” release. Now he’s spent time writing new songs and embarks on a new chapter in his life.Jesse's new album “Southern Highway” has redefined his sound with a southern blues side while still maintaining to be of the highest caliber and continuing to deliver melodic music to the fans. He has completed and mastered this new album Produced by Paul Sabu, and describe it as a melodic driven, southern rockin’ hell of a good time!
