This is where I am supposed to brag about myself and make myself look like Superman, or some super being. But I am just your average Jess who slings words together to entertain myself, and if you out there enjoy what I put together, that is an even better bonus.

I was born obviously a long time ago in a time that seems far, far away. I had a reasonably normal childhood that was dominated by learning to do for myself. I became a teen and discovered that I enjoyed writing, not poetry, mind you, but short stories. I liked to right parodies, horror, comedies, children’s stories, and anything that struck me to put pen to paper. I have many works that are ready to go but need an artist to make my covers pop!

I graduated high school and decided to go the military route where I was a SteelWorker in the Navy SEABEEs. Then I went to college for a major in Computers with minors in English Literature and Psychology.

I had caused quite the stir in my English and Composition classes as my instructors had informed me that they could no longer grade my papers during tests in their other classes. They would usually burst out in a bout of mirth as they read what I had written. (I thought they were being very kind).

I graduated with honors and relocated to the Midwest. Here, I proceeded to organize my prose and begin to personalize and podcast several of them.

So, here I am, enjoying what I am doing and hoping that there are others who share in my sense of humor, horror, or children’s stories.
