Jesse Josserand
Solutions Architect, Small Business Owner, and Systems Administration and Database Analyst in Carriere, MS
I am an IT Veteran with 49+ years of experience in everything from hardware design to CTO. I have been an application developer in many languages that entire time.
I have been a application developer, database developer, Sr. DBA, and DBA manager since 1982, an Oracle Apps DBA and Sysadmin since 1992, a Unix sysadmin since 1984 and a Linux sysadmin since 1996, and an internet marketer and trainer since 1998. I am an expert with Oracle, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap.
I own over 400 domains and have been building websites since 1996 and responsive sites since 2003.
I have owned one placement firm and 3 consulting firms.
I created my own project management methodology in 1982 that was Agile/Scrum/Kanban before they existed. It was created during the Brown & Root project mentioned above and reduced the actual project execution time in half from the original projected time.
I also have Military (USAF) experience. I was dorm chief and squad leader in basic training. I was Red Rope in tech school, responsible for over 800 personnel, and marched over 200 to and from class each day. I achieved E4 in under 3 years and was honorably discharged with full benefits. I was trained in computer and teletype maintenance (crypto) and had a Top-Secret clearance. I volunteered for special duty, and, as a result, taught electronics (DC through Microwave) to over 30 MOS's.
I currently hold 2 Public Trust Clearances (one with the DOI and one with DHS/DoD). Both are active. I also hold an Active Secret clearance and an Active Top-Secret clearance. I also hold 2 CompTIA certifications: Security+ CE and Linux+ CE.
I love everything I.T. related and am just as happy working at any level; on a team, managing teams, or alone.
I am essentially a Sr. Solutions Architect and Infrastructure Continuous Process Improvement Expert. That is what I love the most. However, I am, also, interested in CTO/CIO, or other technical management positions that my very wide, long, and deep background qualifies me for... especially if remote. I am fine with any level of travel, as well.
I.T. is less like work to me and more like playing my guitar!
