Jesse Levin builds community and culture for start-ups using methodologies applied doing international disaster response and indigenous capacity building work abroad. He is the founder of Tactivate, an initiative that meshes the veteran Special Operations community with the start-up ecosystem and is an investor and Co-Founder of companies including Brooklyn Boulders and the Active Collabrative Workspace which was ranked a top innovative workspace in the country by FastCo and Coca Cola in 2014. Prior to his current work, Jesse founded and ran Archer Group Investments, a cultural mediation-consulting firm based in Panama for six years.
Jesse graduated from Babson College and has had his work profiled on CNN in FastCo, PSFK, Panama's La Prensa, The Wall Street Journal , The Boston Globe on XM and NPR radio and many more channels for his investment and development work in Panama as well as for his community, culture and branding work in the US with ventures including Brooklyn Boulders and volunteer work with Team Rubicon.
Jesse is an Aspen Institute Jr. fellow, Thiel Fellowship Mentor, Summit Series member and is an advisor and investor in numerous start-ups. He holds a Wilderness EMT and USCG Captains license.
