Jesse Row

Hello! My name is Jesse Row and I am the 6th Grade Math Teacher at Genoa Kingston Middle School. I am excited about working with you this year!

My Education

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (2009) and a Master's Degree in Math Education with an emphasis in grades 5-9 (2017). I plan on continuing my education in the near future. I am a life long learner who continually seeks out new opportunities to expand my knowledge.

My Interests

My interests range from education to cooking. I am also interested in painting, camping, and gardening. I am a dog lover and enjoy nature immensely.

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe in relationships. I believe that when a student feels connected to the teacher and their fellow students amazing growth can happen. In my classroom I focus on delivering quality instruction, engaging students with activities that spark interest, collaboration, and small group learning. My goal is to inspire my students to take pride in their education and in themselves and to learn how to persevere through difficult tasks.
