Jesse Ventura

Bonjour tout le monde ! My name is Jesse Ventura and I just completed my first year of teaching in a high school in Waterloo - yay! As you can probably guess from my first sentence, I teach core French and I am really enjoying the profession! 😀

Although I am currently in the secondary panel, I am hoping to expand my understanding of education and engage with new ways to support all learners. For example, I love how this introduction thread has already shown me different ways to create engagement and offer students choice.

I was intrigued to take this course, as my mother, aunt and sister are all teachers at the primary level (grades 2 and 3). These three women have all shaped my teaching philosophy, so I am hoping to grow my understanding of education in the primary division.
