Jessica Hutton

I am currently studying Media Studies at the University of Sussex (2nd year) which I worked hard in order to achieve this opportunity. I am finding university a great experience which constantly offers plenty of opportunities. I love the area that I currently live in as it is always buzzing with different atmospheres and crowds. Over the year, I split my time between Brighton and Essex with frequent visits to London in between and really enjoy travelling and getting to visit new places.

I am looking to gain some work experience over the next few months and am hoping to be able to work with a company that can let me use my writing abilities to my full extent which I consider as one of my strongest abilities as I hope to possibly branch out into the editorial and publishing side of the media industry. I have previously had some work experience with 'Now' Magazine and will be working with them again in the next up and coming months.

Some of my interests include readings as I usually end up engrossed in a book series and the same goes for a television series such as Arrested Development, New Girl, Scrubs, and IT Crowd which are a few of my favourites. I always have my iPod on me and can't imagine going a day without listening to music, so when I get to go to gigs and festivals I am completley in my element. I like to get out as much as possible and keep active by either going for walks to places I haven't been before which is even better when the sun is shining or spending a few hours at the gym a day. I like to keep social so feel that I am always surrounded by people. I can not stand a wasted day spent inside.

I have an enormous passion for music as well as the media industry so hope to one day combine these two interests in a career.
