Jessica Aumick

Hello,

My name is Jessica, but most people refer to me as Jessy.

I currently live in Harrisburg, PA and I am still relatively new to the area.

Originally, I am from upstate NY, in a small quiet town called Port Jervis, that happens to lay right where the three states meet.

I graduated from King's College in Wilkes Barre, PA in May of 2013, and immediately set out on my own to find bigger and better things in my learned field of neuroscience.

But the area was hard, and jobs in my area were scarce, so I took a job in a hospital, hoping to use it as a stepping stone to the career that I so desperately yearned for.

I also dedicated hundreds of hours of my time and most of my efforts into volunteering in different places withing my community, trying to gain any experiences that I possibly could.

About 8 months into post-grad life, my boyfriend was commuting to graduate school in Harrisburg, 4 hours a night, twice a week, and both of us were struggling to make ends meet. The same week he was offered a good, high paying job in Harrisburg, we also found out that we were expecting our daughter.
