I was working in my office one day (an office I had decorated minimally) when a lady from another office stopped by. She asked? Who decorated? I said, "that would be me." She says wow, you must struggle with that left brain right brain thing going on. It was then I knew why my spreadsheets were always so pretty.

You see I crunch numbers for a living and never thought about my creative side. Well, that's because I didn't really know I had a creative side. Fast forward a few years and it's time to decorate my house. I wanted art but didn't want what was in the local stores. Since hardware stores are my favorite places to shop (ok, I love shoes too but didn't want to decorate my family room with shoes…hmmmm… now that's a thought) so I go into a big chain hardware store and I see shiny items on sale. Right side kicks in...it’s shiny, I like shiny, it can be turned into art. The first piece turned out really well, in my eyes anyway, so I continue to buy items from the hardware store and turn them into art. I also purchase vintage furniture and add my creative spin.

For many years I’ve struggled to figure out my passion. Well, I’ve found it. So for those still looking, don't stop, keep searching and you'll find it. It’s now my dream to have my artwork, furniture pieces and decorating ideas in residential and commercial spaces all over the world. I found it, my passion that is!
