Jessica Gordon
Student and Spanish translator in Cincinnati, Ohio
I am currently a Spanish major at the University of Cincinnati graduating this spring with my bachelors degree as well as a certification in Spanish Business.
I love to travel and experience new things to help broaden my views of the world.
Through the University of Cincinnati, I was granted the opportunity to study abroad in Spain. There, I was emerged hands on to the Spanish culture and language. I was also granted the opportunity to be involved in a service learning experience through ImaginGuat. In Guatemala, I was given the life-changing experience to build houses for the poor. It was an irreplaceable opportunity that shaped and changed my views.
When I am not traveling the world, I like to relax at home with a good book or go for a long walk with my 100 pound puppy.
It is one of my dreams to help people that are less fortunate than I am and I hope I can use my bilingual skills in Spanish to help make a difference in the world.
