Jessica Lauther
Student Programs Coordinator in Tampa, Florida
Hi there!
Here I am! Now the question is.... where to go from here? Well, the dream is somewhere in Europe! I have a Masters in Higher Education from the great Florida State University and currently work at my undergrad alma mater, the University of South Florida. Ever since my first study abroad trip in 2009 to London I've wanted to live and work and be across the pond. England would be ideal due to the language I've already quite mastered, but upon my subsequent trips to Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, France I could really see myself anywhere! The #lifegoal is to relocate myself to western Europe and continue my passion of working in student affairs. My current role revolves around the Global Citizens Project where we help students think and act more globally during their time at USF, including many who choose to study abroad (which I wholeheartedly encourage!). I previously have worked in career services and taught freshman seminar courses. Dream job options include: working with first year students traveling abroad or overseeing an internship program. Let's see where this goes!
