Jess is currently Associate Producer of two documentaries. "Futbolistas 4 Life" recently completed a Kickstarter campaign raising $13,000 to begin post-production, and "This Just In" is in the midst of production. Her invaluable experience in multimedia production through her various journalistic and production roles have helped contribute tremendously to these productions.
She has worked on various productions including interviews with notables as Oliver Stone, CSU Chancellor Timothy White, and Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA 15th District).
Through her strong work ethic, she has strived to learn the various aspects of the industry, including how to create proposals, budgets, and production calendars as well as oversee a production crew, manage equipment, and work directly with client relations.
Although she has a long record with media production, Jess’ first experience with media was print journalism. She contributed to her community college newspaper, for which she earned the recognition of Best Sports Profile by the Journalism Association of Community Colleges. Yet, her pride and joy was a front-page investigative story for her university’s newspaper,The Pioneer, about the Syrian conflict through the perspective of a Syrian refugee in the Bay Area.
