Jessica Mason is Founder & Principal of The Social Impact Studio, which provides strategy and innovation consulting for organizations creating value in the social space. During her career, she has developed a reputation for using human-centered design to help organizations confront audacious challenges, build world-class programs, and achieve greater impact. She is known for her ability to bring deep insight and clarity to complex projects, her powerful communication skills, and for advocating the value of creative process for social good.
Jessica's career spans a diverse range of projects and teaching engagements focused on innovation and social development in Latin American and the Caribbean, the Asia-Pacific region, The Middle East, and North America. Prior to founding The Social Impact Studio, Jessica worked at the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University where she directed a portfolio of early childhood innovation labs in Latin America and served as the Center's technical expert on innovation methods. She is a certified facilitator and coach of human-centered design and is also an instructor at the LUMA Institute where she has worked with a variety of public and social sector clients, including the U.S. Department of State and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Jessica holds a B.A. magna cum laude from Brown University, a postgraduate certificate in International Business Management from Georgetown University, and an Ed.M in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
