Jessica grew up listening to her father’s business ventures, that spanned from exporting pineapples to Florida to importing medical equipment to Panama, where she was born. Since little, she acquired a deep sense of “yes-you-can” and a “give it your best” attitude, even if all you do is, as her dad would say, “selling popsicles on the street. Just be the best one of all”.

Inspired by him, she entered the world of real estate and specialized in assisting foreigners who relocated to Panama or chose this Central American country as their retirement destination. She taught herself how to coach them into defining their lifestyle and their priorities, before embarking in their property buying journey. Intrigued by a need to help her clients keep track of their choices and feedback, she developed a system that made their decision frustration-free.

A deep love for fashion and design led her to study Interior Design and she became known as the realtor-designer who assisted customers in visualizing the potential of homes and how to turn them into the house of their dreams. Her passion for designing with a purpose can be traced back to her different moves around the continent. While renting whether in Canada, the States or Panama, she had to integrate style under a budget. She considers this stage of her life as a “great paid education”, adding, “I learned to design functional spaces that adapted to my clients’ needs and not the other way around. I experienced the pains of not been able to execute renovations all at once and acquired a deep sense of appreciation for planning with the end in mind”

Jessica, now founder and CEO of Interiors by Jessica, considers herself as a coach for home buyers and renovators. Motivated by her clients’ experiences as well as her own, she is a pioneer in her field. For her, what she does is “very rewarding”, adding, “I love the look in my clients’ faces when they see their dreams become a reality, but more than anything, what motivates me is their sense of accomplishment as they see clarity in their plans and get that awesome feeling of ‘yes, we can!’”
