Ms. Jessica Marie is the ultimate “Mrs. Independent” by not only being an active participant in performing arts, but by also traveling across seas to explore a world she would soon make her own. While studying Communications, with a concentration in Public Relations, Jessica has experienced it all from broadcasting to events. She has interned for ABC TV network in Lansing, Michigan, HOT102.7 Radio One Station in Detroit, MI, as well as several private showcases and special events for Fashion Week. Although most people would say she has done it all, Jessica would give a word to the wise, stating, “This is just the beginning. I am always seeking more.” As part of her undergraduate curriculum, International Communication would serve as her stepping-stone to take her to the next level. Fortunately, Jessica was granted a full scholarship to spend three months in Paris, France. Such an opportunity served as a lighter to her flame of success. Paris is definitely the fashion capital of the world; however Jessica learned the likes of international businesses in fashion, real estate, and understanding the importance of culture in business as well as daily life. In addition to, exploring the numerous outlets Paris had to offer by fusing fashion and business. Upon returning to the U.S. and a new blazing passion, Jessica’s efforts were endless. Immediately after receiving her Bachelors of Arts & Sciences in Communication, she re-located to Atlanta, GA. With award winning internships and experience, in no time did she land a position at EXPLORE FASHIONS, where she was responsible for organizing press kits, launching online PR & Marketing campaigns and blogging about fashion related topics. Shortly after, Jessica interned at Philadelphia Magazine, where she attended Philly Fashion Week and became responsible for fashion reviews. Returning home to Detroit, MI, she landed a position as Assistant Account Executive for a marketing firm. There she learned the fundamentals of marketing, client interaction, and building and creating brand identity. Accumulating all of her past and present experiences in PR, journalism and communications industries, she is preparing to launch her own magazine website, and seeking to make her goals a reality.
