I am passionate about every single part that life has to offer. I’ve spent a great deal of time pondering life’s hard-pressing questions, going back and forth, up and down, but to no avail. I have come to the conclusion that having answers to things such as, “What is the meaning of life?” is sometimes best answered by just living it in the best possible way—the way that makes each of us happy.

I was previously enrolled at Carleton University in the Public Affairs and Policy Management program where I can’t recount anything except how I cried every night studying something that I couldn’t in any way, shape or form relate to or be passionate about. After a year of treachery, I decided to drop out which resulted in the good ol’ “scolded by my parents” ordeal and I was suddenly the runt of the litter amongst my three other siblings.

I decided to pack my bags and travel. A year abroad does wonders. I saw things that nobody would ever believe, experienced moments that you’d think could happen only in the movies, ate foods that I couldn’t pronounce but most importantly, I finally did something for myself.

That year, I took a chance and partnered up with a new business. Treading new waters, I dove into learning everything I could, from developing its social media platforms to engaging with its customers. I was participating in every aspect that business has to offer…and I loved every single minute of it.

I’m currently studying Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Algonquin College where I continue to engage in emerging technologies and develop my skills in every area from marketing, finance, retail, communication and more. I’m no longer crying every night but rather, I find myself in a constant state of bliss because I've finally found something I love.
