I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Studies and Arts Management from the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art and Design Technology (IADT). I was also Chairperson of the IADT Drama Society fomr Sept 2008 - May 2010.

Currently I write up blogs on Tumblr about events taking place at the O'Reilly Theatre and Administer their Twitter pages.

Role as PR Intern

Assisted the marketing team with publicizing the company’s productions by distributing their marketing material (flyers and posters); reformatted and compiled 240 press kits for four of the company’s productions; participated setting up the outdoor area for La Jolla Playhouse’s Foodie Friday events, (i.e. assembling tablecloths onto tables, putting up Foodie Friday signs and giving out theatre tickets to audience members attending Foodie Friday; attended marketing meetings to communicate and update the marketing team on tasks that had been or needed to be completed; received training on how Tessitura works.

Without Walls, (WoW) Festival; Publicized the WoW festival by distributing its marketing material (flyers and posters) which attracted 9484 people; supervised audience members at the festival’s music and theatre events; compiled 40 electronic press kits for artists of the WoW Festival; followed up with TV stations (e.g. KGTV ) asking them to film the festival.

The International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival, Front of House Staff: (Mar 2013-May 2013): Dublin, Ireland.Discussed with professionals in the Arts industry, at the festival’s performance nights, how the festival links the subject of theater and the gay community together; took theatre tickets from customers at the door and supervised the theatre venues during performances; shared links and festival information on Twitter and Facebook.

The Jack Burdell Experience (Theatre Festival), Production Assistant: (Feb 2013-Mar 2013): Dublin, Ireland.
Discussed what discounts the festival Artists could get with local bartenders and café owners; promoted the festival at entertainment events, i.e. The Brownbread Mixtape through personal selling; assisted the Front of House Team with handling audience member’s tickets and supervising the theatre venues during performances.

San Diego Museum of Man, Gallery Guide: (July 2012-Sept 2012): San Diego, California.Supervised the venue where the ‘Instruments of Torture’ was taking place; read up on research.
