Jessica Leonard

I was born a cheese head in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin in 1994. My family and I relocated to New Jersey for two years when I was eight and then to Georgia because my dad was in the Army. He just retired in May. My family is still very close even though my parents got divorced when I was in the seventh grade. My dad lived in Georgia for about one year after that but now he resides in Virginia. Therefore, I live with my mother and sister, when my sister is not attending UGA also. About twice a year, my sister and I visit my dad, stepmom, and stepsister. In Georgia, we live in Peachtree City, south of Atlanta. Our town is known for its hundreds of miles of golf cart paths and the ability to drive your golf cart to high school as well as the shopping complexes. We have a golden retriever, Blazer, who we have had for almost ten years. Started four years ago, my mom owns her own consignment store the town over. By working there and learning from her, it inspired what I want to do with my life. At UGA, I am majoring in Pre-business/Marketing and hope to start my own business someday. Additionally, Taylor Swift and her music have gotten me through a lot of troubles in my life. When I am stuck with a decision, her lyrics help me to decide. My best friend, Sarah, and I have gone to three of her concerts and plan to go to many more. Lastly, I love anything sweet and Lifetime movies.
