Jessica Longhurst

Hello, my name is Jessica Longhurst, I am a 16 year old female soccer player in Las Vegas. I will graduate in the Class of 2015. For the last 12 years I have worked hard and practiced to become the best I can be at the sport I love so much. I am now a sophomore in this 2012-2013 school year, attending Arbor View High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. I play for one of the top competitive girls teams in Nevada, Las Vegas Premier 97 White.

I have played every position on the field and have spent numerous hours practicing those positions, both on and off the field. Last year, I volunteered to learn to play goalie position, when our team no longer had one, due to injuries. I currently am the only starting sophomore defender for my high school's varsity team. I play sweeper primarily for my club team. I understand the commitment needed on a college level, as I have just enough time after school to eat and do some homework before I hit the field to train or have a game.

I play any defense position, and goalie. I have also played outside and center mid field and striker.

My jersey # is 9.

My current GPA is 3.4.
