Jessica Smith

I'm currently nearing the final stretch of my journal as a student at Ferris State University. I'm a senior in the Journalism/Technical Communications program and the Social Work program. I will get my BS of Science in Journalism/Technical Communications in Dec. 2013 and my Bachelor of Social Work in May 2014.

I was born in Muskegon, MI, but I have lived elsewhere, including Texas. I have lived in both the country and the city, so I enjoy both for each of their unique qualities. I am engaged to my best friend, Steven. I currently call a quaint village called Nunica home. Ferris is just my home away from home for the time being. I have a lot of big dreams and believe in the golden rule first and foremost. I've learned that life can change at any moment and to enjoy every minute of every day.

I have two wonderful parents, two amazing younger brothers, an excellent family and great friends. I am an introvert, an artist, a writer and more. I love art, technology, animals, journalism, social work, psychology, make up, fashion, nature and my pets.
