My name is Jessica Villanueva, but no one close to me calls me Jessica. Usually Jess or Jessy is what I hear all the time. I was born in Guerrero, Mexico in a very small town about two hours from the beautiful beach of Acapulco. That being said, I was four years old when my immediate family moved to Atlanta, Ga which is where I was raised and lived since then. I am the youngest of two siblings. My brother is five years older than I am and is currently working on obtaining his Ph D in Inorganic Chemistry at Emory after having graduated from UGA with a BS in Chemistry and a BS in Science Education. I have a very tight schedule this semester. I work 27 hours a week and am taking 15 credit hours. When I am not at work or on campus, I do try to make the most of the little extra time I may have. I love to draw, listen to music, dance, and hanging out with my friends.

I am a 4th year psychology student at the University of Georgia. At the moment I have no idea what specific path I am going to take right after graduation, but I do want to do something involving helping others.
