Jessica Boesche

Hey everybody! My name is Jessica Boesche and I am currently a senior at Kansas State University. I have had incredible four years here in Manhattan and I cannot believe it is coming to an end. I am majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Leadership Studies. I have been an intern with the K-State Athletic Department and Football team for the past two years. I have learned so much about the sports industry from my experience on top of what I have learned about public relations, marketing and communications from my classes.

I always knew that I wanted to work in sports. I have loved sports ever since I was old enough to understand the games. I would go to my dad's house every Sunday and we would watch the Kansas City Chiefs games. My dad taught me the difference between a touchdown and a first down. Then, he taught me about baseball and soccer in the summer and basketball in the winter. Before school every morning, I would always have to watch SportsCenter's Top 10 plays. My love of sports has grown over the years and I hope to continue that when I leave Manhattan. My dream job has always been to work in communications or marketing for a professional sports franchise.

I was born and raised in Kansas City, but I can't wait to see where the next step of my journey takes me.
