I'm so glad you want to get to know me better. First and foremost, I'm a wife and mother. I have been married for nearly 5 years and our daughter is just over a year old. We're first time parents and the adventures we have definitely play a role in my writing. While those things probably top the list of what makes me 'me', they are not all that I am.

I am also a daughter and a sister. My mom and I have an awesome relationship (love you too, dad!) and enjoy spending time together. My younger brother has become a great man and I love seeing him and his family when I can.

Among other things, I am a coffee lover and wine drinker. I enjoy a good book when there's time, but even when there is time, you can usually find me binge watching something on Netflix or Hulu. I love playing board games with family and friends. I also love movies, video games (Nintendo anyone?), camping, bonfires, ice cream, and pizza.

I started my blog as a way to let off steam. Being a stay at home mom has been harder than I thought it would be. I definitely lost a bit of myself in the wake of parenthood. So I started to let my feelings out in cyberspace and I haven't turned back. I hope to reach other first time moms, stay at home moms, women who struggle with weight loss and self esteem, and anyone else who's interested in what I have to say!
