Hi, I’m Jessica and I‘m an International Trade Consultant in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

After 18 years in the corporate world, I now support entrepreneurs and organizations as a freelancer/fractional manager looking to build global business and making lean and efficient processes.

Among my recent projects, I highlight:

• Consulting for a Danish agribusiness subsidiary operating in Brazil since 2020, identifying potential tax and charges savings and logistics bottlenecks for machinery and spare parts;

• Supporting Indian executives on Brazil market entry, conducting to trade fair visits in São Paulo, finding potential prospects, retail tours and on-site meetings with importers;

• Sourcing Brazilian food & ingredients like açaí, tapioca, sugar cane molasses and meat for UAE, South Africa, Switzerland and the United States.

• Launching two made-in-Brazil CPG brands abroad: a coffee alternative in Miami and a cosmetic in New York. In both projects, I conducted from supplier sourcing, including field research in the Amazon area; supplier qualification and laboratory testing; to finally export, customs entry and delivery to U.S. 3PL facility.

I also carry a relevant experience in the Specialty Coffee industry, where for over five years I worked as Head of Procurement and had direct exposure to renowned global brands, conducting market studies, supply chain, B2B and B2C market interaction, and attending industry events such as Coffee Fest and FISPAL (São Paulo), Semana Internacional do Café (Belo Horizonte), Coffee Expo (Chicago), as well as Brazilian Barista Championships and industry networking events connected to roasters, baristas and manufacturers.

I hold certifications through Aduaneiras/CENOFISCO in Incoterms, International Logistics, Tariff Classification, Foreign Trade Taxation and Special Customs Regimes.
