After nearly two decades in international trade, I’m interested in what comes next: how technology, data and AI can make global trade, sourcing, customs and supply chains smarter and more efficient.

Hi, I’m Jessica, an International Trade Consultant based in São Paulo, Brazil.

After 18 years working in international trade, I now support entrepreneurs and organizations as an independent consultant and fractional manager, helping them build cross-border businesses and develop leaner, more efficient international operations.

Among my recent projects:

• Launching two made-in-Brazil CPG brands in the U.S.: a coffee alternative in Miami and a cosmetics brand in New York. In both projects, I worked across the entire supply chain — from supplier sourcing and field research in the Amazon region to supplier qualification, laboratory testing, export operations, U.S. customs entry, and final delivery to 3PL facilities.

• Sourcing Brazilian raw materials and food ingredients — including açaí, cassava, sugarcane molasses, and meat — for companies in the UAE, South Africa, Switzerland, and the United States.

• Consulting for the Brazilian subsidiary of a Danish agribusiness group, reviewing import operations for machinery and spare parts and identifying opportunities related to customs, taxation, logistics, compliance, and process efficiency.

• Supporting Indian companies entering the Brazilian market through market research, trade fair visits in São Paulo, prospecting, retail mapping, and on-site meetings with potential importers.

I also have extensive experience in the Specialty Coffee industry. For more than five years, I worked in procurement with direct exposure to global brands and projects involving sourcing, supply chain, market research, and B2B and B2C markets.

I hold professional certifications from Aduaneiras/CENOFISCO in Incoterms, International Logistics, Tariff Classification, Foreign Trade Taxation, and Special Customs Regimes.
