Music
Jessica was a member of Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra as an undergraduate at UNL and played in master classes for cellists including Yo-Yo Ma, Darrett Adkins, and Bonnie Hampton. She performed at Carnegie Hall with the UNL Philharmonia in 2008, and took part in the premieres of compositions at two SCI Conferences. In 2007 Jessica accompanied Johnny Mathis with the Omaha Symphony. Jessica studied cello with Dr. Karen Becker and Tracy Sands since the age of 10. She was a member of the UNL Marching Band drumline, UNL Symphony, Philharmonia, and the chamber music program run by the Chiara String Quartet. She currently plays with Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra and several chamber groups in the Lincoln, NE area.

Digital Humanities / Academics
In 2012, Jessica finished a MSc degree in Digital Humanities at UCL. Her dissertation explored expression through musical live coding environments with Dr. Nicolas Gold. In spring 2012 she was the digital intern for the National Theatre Archive in London. Jessica presented her dissertation work at the DH2013 conference.

Software / Web Development
Jessica began working for SEMCAT as a software engineer in October 2012 and became the lead dev of XML Integrations in fall 2013. In October 2014 she took a position as a programmer / analyst for the Center for Digital Research in the Humanit
