As Oscar Wilde once said, "Regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being." Since my junior year of high school, my life has been consumed with singing, dancing, and late night rehearsals. With a little push from my mom, I finally decided to tryout for the spring musical "Footloose." Ever since then, theatre has been, quite literally, my life. I was involved with every event the theatre could have offered, along with my current roommate here at the University of Georgia, where I am studying sports and exercise science. However, the most memorable theatre moment of my high school career was when I landed a role in a three cast member show that my theatre director decided to take to the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. We traveled to London, England, and Edinburgh, Scotland, where this picture was taken on top of Edinburgh Castle, for two weeks to sight see, perform, and simply have an unforgettable experience. Now that I am in college, and not exposed to theatre as much as I was in high school, I find joy in looking back on the two magical weeks I spent galivanting around England, and Scotland with a smile on my face every step of the way.
