I am a current student at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in the process of completing the accelerated 17-month Bachelor's in Nursing degree course. I have a previous BS degree in Public Health with a minor in Spanish from Oregon State University. I hope to apply my degree in Public Health to further patient safety and quality improvement. I intend to further my education after my BSN completion and obtain my Nurse Practitioner's License with a speciality in Geriatrics.
This last summer I was able to partake in a urban/rural comparative medical internship to complete my Public Health degree. I gained insurmountable experience working with a diverse range of populations that I know will aide me in my future endeavors.
