I started working full-time in 2008, straight after finishing my A Levels, for Turnpike Farm. I studied English Language and I've always known I wanted to work with words.

Originally my work at Turnpike Farm saw me writing copy for the Park Home News magazine and website, alongside content for Robert Ashton's website and ezine.

My writing progressed from there and I've since co-authored Writing For The Web with Robert, which was published in early 2013. I continue to write at home when I get the time, spend a lot of my spare time reading, and ultimately hope to have a sci fi/fantasy novel published. I also freelance as a proofreader whenever someone requires that support.

In September 2013, my employment transferred to Swarm Apprenticeships, a new, exciting social enterprise that Robert founded. It's a business that I am extremely passionate about having been an apprentice myself and experienced negative parts of how apprenticeships work. So now I strive to ensure we can offer something much more positive. The company has partnered with Norfolk Adult Education and we are currently the only provider of the SFEDI Level 3 Enterprising Skills in a Business Environment qualification in the UK. 2015 will see expansion from Norfolk into Suffolk and also Essex. Exciting times ahead...

I'm very blessed to own my home where I live with Rolo, a fat ginger tom cat, and Millie, the tiniest Chihuahua x Yorkshire Terrier you've probably ever seen. She comes to work with me every day and guards my desk...
