Jessica Latham was born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ. She attended Atlantic City High School, home of the Vikings and actively participated in a number of sports teams; including track and field. She is the proud 800 M record holder at the High School.
After graduating in 2009, she attended West Virginia University where she majored in History and minored in English for Professional Writing and Editing. She is an alumnae of Delta Gamma Fraternity where she formerly served as the chapter's Vice President of Foundation.
While at West Virginia University she also received the prestigious honor of being a 2012 Ronald E. McNair Scholar. Fueled with the love for writing and research, Jessica went on to present her year and a half long findings at the 2013 National Ronald E. McNair Research Conference.
After graduating from West Virginia University, Jessica wanted to take a different path. She enrolled at American University's School of International Service in the fall of 2013. She recently completed her Master of Arts degree in Global Environmental Policy in the fall of 2015.
She currently resides in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area with her very fluffy Samoyed, Opie.
