Jessica Levine
Jessica Levine, Projects Learning Coordinator at THINK Global School, brings to TGS her expertise in international social policy, program coordination, and urban education as well as her global outlook and propensity for adventure.
At TGS, Jessica takes responsibility for initiatives involving host and partner schools in order to expand TGS’s global reach and involve more students in TGS’s activities. She works with faculty to inbed human rights and environmental change knowledge into curriculum and events. Jessica's work ties in to TGS’s unique curriculum, allowing for classrooms without borders and collaborative activities.
Jessica’s previous position as a global consultant focusing on Government Relations, Corporate Responsibility, and Public Affairs involved the creation of strategy and communication plans for varying non-profit, corporate, and government clients. Her passion for social change has persisted throughout her work with the United Nations Development Program’s Chornobyl Recovery Program in Ukraine and her domestic and international volunteer experiences in New York, Philadelphia, England, and the Middle East focusing on public health, access to education, community development, child development, and conflict resolution. More locally, Jessica assisted with the Cuomo campaign for Governor in New York State.
Jessica holds a Masters of Science in Evidence Based Social Interventions from the University of Oxford, where she specialized in implementing and evaluating anti-poverty programs, community and program development, and non-profit management. Jessica graduated summa cum laude from the Benjamin Franklin Scholar Honor’s Program at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies, a focus on Environmental Studies, and a minor in Urban Education Research and Policy Analysis. While at Penn, Jessica founded and served as Program Coordinator for a research-based career and college access program at a local high school through the Netter Center for Community Partnerships.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys travel, exercise, museums, and reading. She completed the New York City Half-Marathon in March 2011. Jessica continually seeks new adventures and experiences to expand her horizon and global perspective. She is active in a variety of charity organizations benefiting communities in need and the environment internationally.
