I have always been a performer – even when the only audience I had was my parents and my other family. My first chance to develop my star came with a select children’s choir called, Treblemakers. I had to audition for 2 open spots with 300 other children from the area. I got in, even though I was too young! I was a part of this group between the ages of 9 and 14. During this time the group recorded a number of CD’s including; "Singing for Treblemakers: Songs for Young Singers" and "Treblemakers: Our Favorite Folk Songs.” As well as recording for our own CD’s we were in the studio recording for the "Silver Burdett Gin" new music program for which we recorded approximately 46 songs. We also had live performances including; the dedication of the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center at the University of Connecticut, where the keynote speaker was the then President Bill Clinton and performed back up vocals for Judy Collins.
After leaving the children’s choir early, due to the development of my voice I started to develop my skills as a solo performer. I started taking voice lessons with Katrina Armando and began to perform around the community. After making the move to New York City I found a new voice teacher in Caroline Selia. I am now exploring my options in the Broadway world as well as continuing to develop solo creative works.
