Jessica Merizan is a comedian, performer, writer and cosplayer. She’s XO of Crabcat Industries and moonlights in the video game industry heading up the Communtiy Team for BioWare Edmonton/Montreal. Jessica carries extra health potions for glue gun burns.
Now partnered with Chris Hardwick’s Nerdist Industries, Crabcat creates entertainment for the delightful masses that focuses on rejecting reality, embracing escapism, and learning to make or do anything you can imagine. You can also catch Jessica on SyFy's "Heroes of Cosplay" as a featured curious protagonist.
Along with traditional geekery, Jessica is borderline obsessed about antiquities, death culture (she has several tattoos including a skull and the words "Memento Mori"), the paranormal and classic literature.
