Jessica Matteson

Fairfield, Connecticut

Jessica Matteson holds degrees in both the arts and the sciences from Cornell University (B.S. & M.L.A.). She has over 15 years of experience, including many years at top landscape architectural practices in Atlanta, GA, and the Northeast. Her work is heavily influenced by the lush and gracious gardens of the south as well as extensive travel throughout Europe and Asia.

Art is a continuing source of inspiration, Ms. Matteson studied art and sculpture at Universidad de Oviedo, Spain and is curator for outdoor sculpture at the Carriage Arts Barn in New Canaan, CT. It is science, however, that underpins all of her work. Expertise in horticulture, storm-water management, restoration ecology and soil science have been instrumental in gaining town approvals and in the long-term success of her landscapes.

Ms. Matteson is a professional landscape architect licensed in Connecticut.
