Jessica Morgan Bryant

Providence, Rhode Island

Associate Editor at the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) in Boston. Former Managing Editor at Foodable, a media network that I helped launch in South Florida.

I was born and raised in the small, beautiful state of Rhode Island, but spent the past 4.5 years living in Miami. (Being fair-skinned with a mother who hates the beach, Miami is the last place I would've imagined living.)

After a brief move to New York City at 17 and internships at various places throughout college — an Italian food magazine in Boston's North End, NBCMiami.com, and Haute Living Magazine — I ended up graduating with a BA in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island.

Some of my favorite things: proper grammar, the west coast, traveling, art, hip hop, wine bars, whiskey, indie films and documentaries, and challenging myself (skydiving and running a 5K are on my list). Oh, and I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, especially Anthony Keidis.
