Jessica Perez Velazquez

Hey there, I’m Jessica Perez Velazquez and I am currently a Graduate Student at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, AZ. My goal is to graduate by December 2020 with a Master of Global Management in Global Business and Global Affairs. Upon completion of my MGM, I would like to find a suitable Marketing internship while in grad school as a way to transition into a full-time position in Marketing Management in the future. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in Diplomacy/International Relations and a minor in European Studies. I have over 5 years of military experience and most recently as a Human Resources Officer. While in the U.S. Army I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the international community, in places such as South Korea, Qatar, Afghanistan, and over 13 European countries. The military also gave me the opportunity to lead others, become a coach/mentor, as well as a loyal, dedicated, and motivated team player. I firmly believe that the values, leadership philosophy, skills, confidence and experience that I gained in the military will be of great value to your company. Lastly, some of my hobbies include professional photography, travel, learning new languages, fitness, as well as food, dogs and education.
