Jessica Schieldrop
Though she began her career as a Financial Analyst, Jessica Schieldrop soon found she had a propensity for managing teams and leading projects. Since 1989, she has managed marketing initiatives, led teams of account executives and creative talent, and developed revenue-increasing strategies for clients. Jessica Schieldrop has worked and studied to acquire her leadership skills. To complement her professional endeavors, she earned a Master’s degree in Public Affairs in 1994. In her first managerial role, with Time Warner, Inc., from 1989 to 1991, Jessica Schieldrop supervised improvements to TIME magazine’s insert cards, which increased the publication’s revenue by 43 percent. She also managed TIME’s Business Edition, which involved overseeing subscriber enrollment and a $3 million budget. As an Account Executive with Ogilvy & Mather Direct in New York City, Jessica Schieldrop supervised agency teams of other executives, copywriters, and art directors. She and her team helped the American Express credit card issuer reach goals of expanding business by increasing card membership. From 1994 to 2000, Jessica Schieldrop held a high-ranking managerial position with Deloitte Development LLC’s Consulting Group. She served as a project leader for many state agencies and other clients. Ms. Schieldrop managed teams of up to 50 employees for projects that garnered as much as $70 million in fees. Jessica Schieldrop participated in systems development projects in the roles of Project Manager, Acceptance Testing Manager, Implementation Manager, and Change Management Manager. Her leadership helped Deloitte win new clients and sales and her supervisors rated her performance as “consistently outstanding.” After leaving Deloitte, Jessica Schieldrop launched her own business, J.H.S. Enterprises, LLC, in 2000. Through J.H.S. Enterprises, she sells real estate and antiques to clients in Southampton and New York City. In 2006, she joined Snyder, Inc., of Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Project Management Consultant. With Snyder, Jessica Schieldrop serves clients in human resources, pharmaceuticals, and fashion. She has also served as an editorial consultant for a book project. She earned her B.A. from Harvard University and her Master of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin.
